Russell first discovered his illness when he had probems with his eye. Although not connected with his condition this highlighted his high blood pressure and diabetes. After taking medication and not being able to control the symtoms he was referred to an endocrinologist who disognosed Cushings Syndrome. Two months later an adrenal tumor was found (October ‘08.) They were hoping to remove it but it was quite large and the surgery so dangerous further tests were started.
