I am a 51 yr old man who is diagnosed with advanced stage 3, Renal Cell Carcinoma. In Oct of 2002, at age 45, I was hospitalized and diagnosed with a “ruptured kidney” which was a mis-diagnosis. Treated for the bleeding only, I was released from the hospital after a 5 day stay, leaving with minimal discharge instructions.
