Newly diagnosed
I have just been diagnosed with carcinoid tumour with 80% lymphatic involvement. I am really looking for other as support because of the rarity of the disease and living in a small population it is difficult to find anyone with the same concerns. I have been told that it does not respond to chemo or radiotherapy though some of the research I am reading disputes this. The doctors have not given me a great prognosis.
