After doing 6mos of ABVD the last 2 cat scans have shown minimal scarring in both lobes,dont know if its from radioactive scans or Bleomycin or combination of both-Vinnie

Hi friend,
Am a HODGKINS patient.Just now ABVD theraphy get completed.This chemo medicines results in many sideeffects.BLEOMYCIN drug sideeffects results in shortness of breath.Thats we cant breathe normally,when we walk for a short distantce we get shortbreathing....This is temporary only.
Also this medicine cures the entire cancer cells in lungs leaving some wounds there....which can be clearly seen in PET scan report..After completion of treatment that wound get cleared.So nothing to worry......Takecare.Bye
