53 with endometrial cancer
In October, 2009 I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. No symptoms. A pap smear picked it up. I had an LAVH on Dec. 4 and 3 sessions of brachytherapy which I just completed. Both the surgery and radiation was not bad at all! My surgeon thinks that the chance of this recurring is less than 5% but no one really knows. I guess I am trying not to think about it too much. I am just trying to enjoy the good times while I have them.
