Recurrence 12 years later

In 1998, I had a complete hysterectomy for endometrial cancer. I passed the five-year mark and if you make it to that, you are a cancer survivor. Right? Wrong! After undergoing many painful tests the past few months, I’ve been diagnosed with Stage IV, Endometrial Cancer metastasized to the lung, diaphragm and pelvis. It is not operable and not curable. Enjoyed Purusha Yoga for many reasons. The small community feel, the flexibility, the openness to input from one another, the broadness of in-depth knowledge from Joy, she really has a good knowledge of anatomy, philosophy, chanting, asana and the list goes on!
