Clinical Trial

Post a new topicby Scollins14 on Wed Jan 06, 2010 9:21 pm

Hello everyone,

Just curious if anyone has done this clinical trial: Pelvic Radiation Therapy or Vaginal Implant Radiation Therapy, Paclitaxel, and Carboplatin in Treating Patients With High-Risk Stage I or Stage II Endometrial Cancer (NCT00807768)

My mother in law was diagnosed with Stage 1c, grade 2 endometrial cancer and the doctor has recommended this clinical trial. It seems like a pretty extensive treatment plan compared to the standard radiation treatment after hysterectomy

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Stephanie
