Hi,
My brother was diagnosed with esophageal cancer about a month back. The doctor recommended chemotherapy as the first treatment. He just had his first round of chemo a week back. First few days after chemo he could eat and drink, then he had difficulty swallowing and could only drink. Now after a week he is not able to take any liquids either. He has been hospitalized again so they can put him on glucose. His neck appears swollen. Is that one of the side effects of the chemo?
From your post, it seems like your husband did not have to go through surgery. Is that true? Was there any other treatment you followed or any other special diet plan?

Thanks
