Esophagus Cancer stage 3My husband had stomach pains for years. He was treated for acid reflux, nexium wasn’t helping so he went back to the Dr who said he had a virus and gave him an antibiotic.
That didn’t help so he gave him a pain medicine. He never did a test of any kind to determine his problem. The last time he went I told him to insist on some tests. Re: Esophagus Cancer stage 3I was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer in Nov. of 2003 and immediately started Chemo and radiation
in Feb. of 2004 I had an Esophogectomy ( this was a protcol from The Minnie Pearl center in Nashville ) I weaned myself off the feeding tube in April of 2004 and went back to mowing yards in FL. I am 56 years old and no one ever suspects I was ever sick [moderator note: e-mail address has been removed]
Re: Esophagus Cancer stage 3We found my father had Esophagus Cancer in September 2007 - He want through the surgery in October 2007. He has Stage 3 cancer and it is through is lymp node track. He is going through chemo and radiation. He was doing well with the treatments until about 2 weeks ago. Now he is very sick. He came through the surgery great. His doctor, while in the hopsital, asked my father to speak with a man who was getting ready for the prucedure but very nervous. From what my family has been through so far, I think the hardest part is the treatment, not the surgery.
